1 Why we use this policy
This Cookie Policy explains (a) what cookies and similar technologies we place on mappedup.io and app.mappedup.io, (b) what each cookie does, and (c) how you can control them through our CookieYes consent banner (“Cookie Settings” link in the footer) or your browser.

2. What are cookies and similar tech?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use localStorage and, in a few cases, Cloudflare tokens that function like cookies. Throughout this policy the word “cookie” covers all of these.

4 Detailed cookie list
‍Note 1: Names may change when third-party vendors update their libraries; we rescan periodically via CookieYes and adjust this list accordingly.
‍Note 2: Cookies marked planned are not set today but will appear once we launch the related feature; they will remain blocked by default until you opt-in.

¹ “Session” means the cookie disappears when you close the browser. Persistent cookies state the maximum lifespan but may renew on each visit.

5 Managing your preferences
      - First visit or cleared cookies – the banner appears; choose Accept All, Reject All, or Customize.
      - Later changes – click the “Cookie Preferences” floating consent button (always present on the left corner on a page) to reopen the banner and toggle categories.
      - Browser controls – you can delete or block cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking Strictly Necessary cookies may break log-in and core functions.
       - Global Privacy Control / Do Not Track – if your browser sends GPC or DNT signals we treat them as an opt-out for Analytics and Marketing categories, overriding the banner until you give explicit consent.

6 Cross-domain consent
Our CookieYes banner is deployed on mappedup.io and app.mappedup.io. Your selection on either domain is stored in the first-party cookie cookieyes-consent with the root domain .mappedup.io, so returning to the other sub-domain honours the same choice (no duplicate banner).

7 Updates to this Policy
We review cookies periodically and at each major feature launch. Changes that alter categories or add new cookies will prompt the banner again and update this page. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest substantive change.
